This course serves to introduce students to various statistical methods for quantitative or mixed-method research. Students will learn to apply descriptive statistics to analyze numerical data for research related to linguistics, literature, foreign language learning, and didactics. Through a combination of theoretical lecture and practical hands-on application, students will learn to gather and analyze numerical data as well as describe their findings.
