Basic concepts and issues in foreign trade and external payments affecting developing countries; analysis of policies and their affects.
The course provides the analysis of international trade with the use of consumer and production theories learned from the core subjects of economics. In the end, students should be able to identify and critically evaluate the major forces and trade policies, as well as their significance for subsequent Philippine development.
