Learning Outcomes

 

At the end of this module the students will be able to apply theories and principles of nutrition education and promotion and nutrition program management using the community development and inter-professional approach with partner communities by:

1)  Organizing and capacitating stakeholders in the community for health and nutrition.

2)  Assessing the community’s needs and gaps in terms of health and nutrition.

3)  Evaluating a current nutrition-specific or -sensitive program or service.

4)  Creating information, education, communication, or training materials to support or strengthen a chosen program or service and/or address an identified health and nutrition issue.

5)  Conducting education and training activities to support or strengthen a chosen program or service and/or address an identified health and nutrition issue.
