COURSE SYLLABUS

I.            Course Description: Policy implementation and assessment with emphasis on the factors related to the success and failures of public policies.

II.       Learning Outcomes: At the end of the semester, the students are expected to have: (1) gained an understanding of the role of policy implementation and assessment in the policymaking process and governance, (2) deepened their knowledge on the nature of and relevant theories in both areas, (3) acquired skills in planning for policy implementation and assessment as applied in real-life situations, and (4) appreciate the role of Big Data Analytics in both areas.
