Course Description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of reference and information services in libraries and information centers. Students will examine the principles, practices, and techniques involved in providing effective reference assistance to diverse user populations in various settings. Topics covered include reference interview techniques, information retrieval methods, reference resources and tools, assessment of reference services, and emerging trends in reference and information services.
