Welcome to FN 101 or better yet, to a peek into the next chapter of your life!
This course has often been referred to as “the orientation course” because the main goal of this course is to equip you with knowledge about your course and what to expect during your entire university life under the BS Community Nutrition program.
Particularly, the course provides an overview of community nutrition, its history, development and its importance in nation-building, career opportunities of Nutritionist-Dietitians and their responsibilities to society.
This course also aims to help you decide whether the BS Community Nutrition program is really the program for you. FN 101 might also, tell you if the BS Community Program will ultimately turn you into the Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND) that our country needs to finally eradicate malnutrition, malnutrition-related diseases, and hunger by improving even just one plate at a time.
