Science, Technology and Society is an interdisciplinary GE course that examines the past, present, and future of science and technology in society (including their nature, scope, role and function) and the social, cultural, political, economic and environmental factors affecting the development of science and technology, with emphasis on the Philippine setting. It uses local and practical examples to analyze and illustrate the dynamics between science and technology and society. The course is best taken at the junior or senior level.
