PA 241: PUBLIC POLICY AND PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION

I. Course Description: PA 241 is an introductory course to the field of public policy and its representative literature. It consists of an exploration into the nature, rationale, models, and key concepts of public policy.
II. Course Objectives: The course aims to: (1) introduce students to the major field of public policy, its concepts, scope, and concerns as well as its relevant literature; and (2) initiate critical understanding of and interest among students, in the complex task of public policy-making, program administration, and societal reforms.
