A survey course on Industrial-Organizational Psychology as a specialized area of study. Following the scientist-practitioner model, it covers a range of psychological concepts, principles, theories and research methods applied to work settings. With focus on individual, group and organizational behaviors, the topics range from understanding the personal meaning of work, work stress and well-being, group dynamics, performance management, and organizational development. Prerequisite: Psych 180/COI Credit: 3 units
