The course will examine the ecological footprint of the buildings we make and chart paths in localizing sustainability goals through architecture.

At the end of the course, the student will have to:

Discuss ecological footprints and the energy that buildings use in their lifetime;
Evaluate a building’s ecological footprint;
Formulate practical approaches or directions to reduce a building’s ecological footprint through a case study;
