As world population continue to grow, great pressure
is placed on the proper management of water (supply and excess) not only in the
technical sense, but also in consideration of the economic, social, political,
and environmental variables. This course presents relevant material in a
unified framework, emphasizing why things are done along with how they are done.
It provides concepts on the analysis and management of water resources from
conception, planning, design, until operation for both the beneficial
utilization and damage control of water. CE 116 therefore, is a guide for you
not to thirst of and drown in water at the same time.
