J123 will engage the students on the essential skills, knowledge and attitude needed for professional photojournalism practice for various media platforms and emerging markets. 

The course intends to cover the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography, photojournalism standard genres and categories, visual framing and effective composition and storytelling, caption writing, ethics, history and the changing media landscape, workflows and digital asset management.
