Arch 10 is the first course in the architectural design series. The course covers design fundamentals involving basic spatial and creative design problems. Your self-paced, self-learning is guided by progressively answering weekly guide questions on creativity, the design process, concept and space. To aid you in answering these guide questions, we, your Arch 10 design professors, have provided you with selected readings and thought experiments to ponder on. You will record your ponderings through a series of Weekly Journal Entries which you will collate at the middle and at the end of the semester into a portfolio. This portfolio, or sketch journal, is your graded class requirement to complete the course.
