Course Description
This course provides an avenue for the students to demonstrate skills in conceptualizing and designing a communication and/or media research that they have learned in their previous communication classes. It prepares them to conduct their final theses in the program through the development of a comprehensive research proposal, which is defended at the end of the semester.
Objectives
At the end of the course, the students will be able to:
- Demonstrate skills in problem conceptualization for communication and/or media research.
- Design a scientifically and ethically meritorious communication research proposal.
- Defend the proposal before their peers and faculty members of the Department.
