This course explores the interconnected themes of migration and heritage across Asia. It examine how migration has shaped cultural identities, built transnational networks, and transformed landscapes and heritages. In particular, this course considers internal and international migrations and their relationship to colonialism, globalization, conflict, labor mobility, and heritage politics.
