UVLe ’22 is now available at a temporary website (bagong-uvle.upd.edu.ph). The new UVLe will be moved to uvle.upd.edu.ph after the midyear term, 1st week of September.

What’s new with UVLe ’22?
Other than transitioning to a more stable version, the following changes have been made to improve your experience with UVLe:
  • New User-Interface based on a Preliminary Usability Testing
  • Turnitin integration
  • Stabler base - Moodle 3.9 has many improvements over Moodle 3.5
  • Better internal load management that prevents inaccessibility unless the UP network is down.
We still have the features that have been proven useful to us before, such as:
  • CRS integration
  • Dilnet and UP Mail login
  • Zoom integration
How do I access the new and old UVLe?
The new UVLe has been available for early access starting 13 August 2021 via a temporary website (bagong-uvle.upd.edu.ph). We have provided this early access to give time to the faculty to develop and upload their courses in the new UVLe, as well as transition their courses from the old UVLe before the upcoming semester. After this midyear term, the new UVLe will be migrated to the site uvle.upd.edu.ph as it will be the main version that we will be using in the upcoming academic year. This change will be done around early September.

What will happen to my courses in UVLe?
New courses will no longer be catered to in the old UVLe (currently housed in  uvle.upd.edu.ph). Starting the First Semester AY 2021-2022, all courses will be created in the new UVLe. However, courses in the old UVLe will still be accessible for one (1) more year via old-uvle.upd.edu.ph to allow access to students who need to complete their grades, and to faculty who need to back-up their course materials and course data. Trainings will be provided with regards to transitioning to the new UVLe as well as the basics of course creation in UVLe during the month of August. More advanced topics will be covered throughout the First Semester of AY 2021-2022. The training materials will be made available in UVLe as a public course so that users can refer to them at any time.
